I’m currently a Senior Diplomacy Fellow with Narrative-Strategies, a Senior Strategic Advisor with Pax Strategies LLC, a Senior Practitioner (pro bono) with the US Department of Defense’s Irregular Warfare Center, and an Expert Reviewer with National Defense University Press’ Joint Forces Quarterly (JFQ) journal.

I’m a highly accomplished former US diplomat (Minister-Counselor rank), leader, mentor, coach, and problem-solver with vast, “real-world” experience in Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) roles across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

I have a PhD in War & Defense Studies from King’s College London and Master’s degrees from the National War College and American University. My book on Russia’s IW activities in Syria and Ukraine is available from Bloomsbury, Amazon, Waterstones, etc.

I’m a member of the American Foreign Service Association, Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy for America, Information Professionals Association, Intelligence and National Security Alliance, and National Security Leaders for America.
